My husband and I are adopting a little girl from China and I'm now proud to be learning mandarin at the Asian American Cultural Center.  I have also become very interested in Taoism.  So far I've been writing a journal of the paperchase.  I am also working on a little cross stitch sampler with lady bugs and the Chinese legend of the Red Thread, and I'll put the pattern on my site for free when it's ready so other adoptive parents and friends/relatives of adoptive parents can use it if they want.
